Gunter Gallery announces its V contest ‘Art Hunter’, which is looking for all those illustrators, urban artists, graphic designers, and artists who want to work with the technique of silkscreen. The winner of the contest will see his work reproduced under the technique of silkscreen (limited and signed series of 20 units) and will become part of the catalog of Gunter Gallery and of our network and exhibitions. The winner will also receive the fees corresponding to the sale of each unit from the series, under the previous signature of an artist contract.

Gunter Gallery curated all artistic actions in the new Uniqlo store in Madrid

It was the opening of a most anticipated store in recent years in Madrid. The Japanese firm Uniqlo landed in the capital of Spain and Gunter Gallery supported this event with a series of artistic actions. The most outstanding was the realization of a large mural in the center of the store, on tile, with daily scenes from the life of Madrid made by the artist Gonzalo Muiño. Also, this same Gunter Gallery artist made the designs of three limited edition bags that welcomed in a personal way all the fans of the Japanese house. The action was completed with a temporary exhibition with about 10 works by Gunter Gallery artists, including two originals inspired by Japan by Simmon Said and Mercedes Bellido.

The show, under the title ‘The wound of the hero’, reviews the lives of the greatest superheroes to analyze their inner demons and present them as ‘real’ heroes. Pop-up in Madrid on November 30 and December 1. The artist himself explains the exhibition in this way: “Each character in this exhibition was and still is a hero of my childhood. I love them, I respect them and I would like to show my admiration for them. Everyone knows their public facet: powerful, strong, they don't know fear and they save the world every day. But I want to show them without masks, people fighting their demons. In this way, we will be able to understand that they are even more powerful, strong and brave. ”
