Third edition 'Art Hunter' Contest by Gunter Gallery

Do you want to see your artwork exhibited next to those made by important artists like Ricardo Cavolo, Paula Bonet, BoaMistura or Jean Jullien? Gunter Gallery announces its third contest ‘Art Hunter’, which is looking for all those illustrators, urban artists, graphic designers, and artists who want to work with the technique of silkscreen.

The winner of the contest will see his work reproduced under the technique of silkscreen (limited and signed series of 20 units) and will become part of the catalog of Gunter Gallery and of our network and exhibitions. The winner will also receive the fees corresponding to the sale of each unit from the series, under the previous signature of an artist contract.

Requirements:

Participants can send up to three artworks in JPG format to info@guntergallery.com with the following characteristics:

  • Size: 47x35 cm.
  • Resolution: 72 dpi.
  • Colors or inks: 3.
  • Theme: Free.

The author should send his personal data in the same email (name, ID, postal address, email, website and social networks).

The artworks must be unpublished and original, not having been shown in social networks, Internet, or in commercial actions of any type.

Deadline

Those interested should send their work until 24.00 hours on 30th June, 2018.

Jury

The jury of the contest will be formed by Amalio Gaitero, Marta Fernández and Mario Suárez, Gunter Gallery's management team; as well as by the artists Mercedes Bellido y Simmon Said.

Registration, acceptance of the bases

Participation in the contest implies the acceptance of the conditions reflected in these bases.

Automated data processing

In compliance with the Organic Law 15/1999 of 13th December about the Protection of Personal Data and its Development Regulations (Spain), participants are informed that their personal data collected in this promotion will be processed by Gunter Gallery for the exclusive purpose of managing participation in the promotion and communicating the winner of the prize.

Use of the artworks sent by participants. Assignment of rights over the work

Gunter Gallery will not use or communicate or share in any case the artworks sent by the participants in its contest, which will be eliminated once the contest ends, remaining exclusively the winner’s artwork.

The winner of the contest authorizes Gunter Gallery to use the chosen artwork and its full name in its social networks, newsletter and website in order to communicate the winner and promote the production of the series in silkscreen.

The winner of the contest must provide the file of the artwork to Gunter Gallery in photoshop format divided in layers, in quality 300 dpi and real size.

Participation in this contest means for the winner the assignment of the rights of reproduction and communication to Gunter Gallery as it is included in the contract Gunter signed with all its artists. 

Modification / or cancellation of the competition

Gunter Gallery reserves the right to suspend, modify or cancel this contest at any time.

Communication to the winner

The prize will be communicated to the winner after the contest, within 14 days through an email. In addition, it will be published on Gunter Gallery's social networks.

In the case that, for any reason, the winner was unable or unwilling to accept the prize, he or she waived the award, was unable to locate or did not provide the necessary information requested, after 5 calendar days from the designation of the winner, he or she shall lose the rights and we will proceed to contact another participant who will be among the finalists.

The remaining participants who have not been selected will not receive any communication from Gunter Gallery.

Prohibition to participate

Those under 18 years of age can not participate in this competition, being a cause of disqualification. Gunter Gallery is not responsible if a participant hidden or falsified the personal data requested.

Fraud in participation and disqualification

In the case that Gunter Gallery detects any anomaly or suspects that a participant is impeding the normal development of the promotion, illegally altering its registration or participation by any procedure to falsify its participation, the company may unilaterally remove the registration of that participant.
