The term “Iñujita” literally means “dog tongue”. It is a word invented by Tokyo-based French artist Jeremy Yamamura, which is inspired by the Japanese word “Nekojita”, which translates as cat tongue. This expression is applied to people who are too sensitive and cannot eat or drink things that are too hot. A humorous meaning for a positive and colorful piece that summarizes Yamamura's artistic DOGZZZ project, for which he is admired among art collectors around the world.
