If only a painter could portray scents! Sometimes it is achieved, sometimes it is intuited and felt. Even nowdays, when Social Networks run everything, there are sensations that a painter doesn’t allow to scape. "We are the first settlers of the digital age and we are leaving a mark on our walls (of Instagram)", says Alex de Marcos. He was inspired by a picture on that social network (with censored breasts, of course) to, from the pixel, make this artwork. "I was fascinated by the light that a mobile phone had captured, I was flooded with beauty and I had to take a brush and take out everything I was feeling". And within these sensations was, of course, the scent of summer.

Technique: Oil on board 2 cm thick.

DISPACHT
