"It was love at first sight, at last sight, at any sight," Nabokov wrote in his novel 'Lolita' (1955). The femininity projected, from the point of view of a creator like Yutanpo Shirane, is resolved in a sensual way through a simple line and a sober color palette. The gesture, the everyday life, the beauty of the simple appear in these originals made by one of the most interesting Japanese illustrators of recent decades, who is a reference for thousands of young people that follow his work as if he were a rock star, but with a brush.
