Influenced by urban art and skateboarding world, Mr Penfold makes a maximum work of geometric abstraction in this piece, part of a series of works he made based on paper cutouts in 2020. “I enjoy jagged edges,” explains the creator. Thus, this piece maintains a formal and aesthetic balance that magnifies the chromatic palette the British artist handles with ease. What is abstract becomes warm and what is geometric is inspiring and positive.
