Formed in the classrooms of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Cuenca, a place marked by the abstraction of artists such as Antonio Saura or Fernando Zóbel, Mercedes Bellido (Zaragoza, 1991) is one of the new promises of contemporary painting in Spain.

Master in Research in Art and Creation at the Complutense University, she has made different artistic collaborations for events such as the Mutantes Books Fair of La Casa Encendida (Madrid) or Plataforma PAC at Estampa Fair.

She has participated in collective exhibitions in Extendido, the Emerging Art Festival in Cuenca (2012) or Spring in the square in Matadero Madrid (2016). She has developed also work with drawing or embroidery, which help her to collaborate regularly with fashion companies such as Zara, Nike, Chanel, Bimba and Lola, Bershka, Reebok, Eastpak or Urban Outfitters, becoming one of the creators most in demand today for her universe creative full of skulls, underworlds of fantasy and nature, all of it using a meticulous technique typical of another century.
