€1,900.00 EUR

Beech Frame

"Everything is a metaphor in life" said the writer Haruki Murakami in his book Kafka on the shore (2002). And, from here, the Japanese author has dedicated himself to making us think about relationships, silences and truths. This artwork, made by David de la Heras in Madrid in 2018, is the original cover of the book Killing Commendatore. A devastating piece, different from what the artist is accustomed to think, but which, therefore, is essential in his recent career. There is no face, there is color and flame, as in Murakami's novel, where the characters burn and camouflage themselves.

Technique: Oil on paper.

Size: 42 x 29,7 cm

Signed by the artist.

*This artwork is sold framed.
