In this work by Miguel Ángel Fúnez, the animated characters in the collective imagination are manipulated and recomposed, organizing an amusing commentary that contains different nuances regarding biotechnological practices, as well as clear allusions to climate change. “We find ourselves immersed in a society where advances in genetic engineering lead us towards an imminent future in which the possibility of controlling natural processes, adjusting them to our needs, will be a feasible matter”, he explains. And from this analysis arises this piece, complex in its composition and sublime in its pictorial finish.
