The Sacred Mountain of Belmonte, near Turin, inspired this artwork the artist Elisa Talentino made for an exhibition in Milan, about the recognition as a World Heritage Site by Unesco of the nine Italy’s sacred mountains , those chapels from the 15th century with huge architectural and artistic value. "It rises on a rock formation that was already a place of worship in the pre-Christian era; Belmonte rises on a hill, and to get there you have to make a small pilgrimage through a path in the forest; this illustration is an allegory of nature ", explains the artist.
